MANALI - The Valley of Gods.

The Name itself has such a beauty. The town lies on hills of upper Himalayas and its a unique hotspot for tourists and nature lovers. I Travelled Manali three times solo and with friends but recently for the fourth time I wanted to trek and see the inner beauty of this town, so I was searching for the group trekking online and I read about a trekking organization named PEAK HIKERS originated from Vadodara, Gujarat. I spoke with them and they were so polite and professional and guide me for some cool treks like Hampta pass, Brighu lake, Chanderkhani and some of the waterfall treks like Jogini waterfall, Sajla waterfall and much more. I was new for the trekking field and I felt this group is soo professional so I choose them for my first trekking experience. We were the group of 36 participants and I was solo but in train itself while journey I met some some trek mates and we became friends before arriving the destination. I was very exited for upcoming adventures with some new friends. We reached Pathankot and they gave us some time for refreshment and shopping. I bought some cool trek pants of military patterns and a jacket. We also had popular Billu Ki Lassi which was so creamy and Delicious in a Patiala glass. Evening time, we get on our Private vehicle and started our night journey on hills for Manali. The zig zag roads and river floating next to us was the best moment for me. Early morning around 6 am we arrived Kullu valley and had some Maggie and tea nearby flowing water. The water was so cold that we were not even thinking of washing our face. After capturing some good clicks and vids we moved on for Manali. On arrival at the campsite nearby naggar village, we had breakfast. The campsite was soo pretty and had a great view of Himalayas. It has colorful stones and wooden huts with different lightings. There were 6 man tents too and I choose to live in tent. It was so well set and warm and it also gave me the camping vibes. I felt it more luxiours than any star hotels. There was also Hot water springs nearby our campsite. After getting fresh and changed they took a group meeting in a fall-in way. I was the leader of Bravo group. There was some rules and regulations we have to follow until the camp gets end, it was a fair rules and not so strict. Afterwards we had delicious lunch and went for some small hike to acclimatize our body. We played team games and get bath in cold flowing water as next day was a bit challenging. We have to face some snow, cold wind and many things for which it was compulsory to acclimatize us first. We ate dinner and get packed some useful things to carry for trek. Early morning, we had heavy breakfast and started our halfway journey to Gulaba, the starting point of our trek. Every one was so exited and energetic but none of them realized how difficult it was until we reached our advance camp. Every one was tired but still fit and well as next day was also gonna challenge for us. We had soup and dinner and slept. Next morning we had yummy parathas in breakfast and only 22 participants were ready to face challenge to summit. we gone through some snowy mountains were our feets get tucked in snow. we all motivated each other and arrived at our summit point BRIGHU LAKE. The lake was totally freezed with ice, even the weather was so cold and fizzy. Later, we started trekking down and on some paths we slide on ice which was so exiting. On arriving at advance camp, we had camp fire and horror talks. Next day we all are going to move for base camp but none of them wanted to say good bye to snowy mountains. The hills and mountains and trek mates were the best motivator for each one of them. We arrived at base camp and relaxed our body and went for river rafting in kullu. Next day was for paragliding and town visit and last day for us which was a bit sad moment but the D.J and garba night made all of us happy. In this whole trip, i made some friends which was like family and lifetime memories. Overall, Now PEAK HIKERS is now in my list and i am going to travel whole india with them.
